Coach Kessigner says this about the offense:
Going in to this season we will have quite a few questions to be answered. We are replacing a good number of players from our 2012 KCAC Championship team. Most notably will be at the quarterback season. We have quite a few good prospects to compete for our starting position from the Junior to the freshman class.
Coach Kessinger says this about the defense:
On defense we feel that we have filled positions that we have due to the graduation of some of our key players in 2012. We have a number of returners that know what it takes to be successful in our conference and we believe the most talented recruiting class that we have had in the past 10 years. We have a difficult task ahead of us in regards to winning a third straight KCAC Championship and our schedule looks to be the toughest in several years. Our guys are excited about the challenge and what the 2013 season can bring us.
